Stop here to explore the web site that accompanies the print publication Teen Ink, which is written by teens, for teens. The site also offers teens a chance to submit their writing for consideration for publication. Or, browse their online stories, poetry, reviews, and essays, all written by, you guessed it, teens!
Merlyn's Pen
Here's another site that offers some of the best writing out there by young writers. With Merlyn's Pen, writers under twenty have a chance to submit their personal essays, poems, and stories for teen audiences (and anyone else visiting the site). It's a great site to explore even if you're not ready to submit your own work too!
TeenLit.com, Inkspot: For Young Writers
This interactive site offers teens a chance to create an online writing portfolio and use other tools for writing. If you're not ready to submit your work yet, this site will help get you there!
ABC's of the Writing Process
This is the place to get concrete ideas for the five stages of the writing process. It's a sure antidote to writer's block!
